OUR GRANTEES – VOTING RIGHTS

The right to vote is a fundamental, constitutional right that must be upheld. Low-income communities of color are becoming increasingly disenfranchised when their votes are being suppressed. Without equal voting rights, citizens of the United States cannot seek redress of their grievances thereby often necessitating litigation as the only means to establish that right.

The Foundation funds cases that protect and defend the right to vote. The following grantees pursued litigation that addresses voting right violations and ensures that the right to vote is afforded equally to all.
